Reining Dreams is the second title in the Equestrian Dreams series about the seven FEI disciplines from equestrian publishers LewisHarding Publications. The book opens up the world of Western Reining by taking the reader from the spectacular performances of the competitive show pen to behind the scenes, to stable and home to capture a unique look at what it really takes to reach the top of this spectacular sport.

Written by top International Reiner Francesca Sternberg, Reining Dreams bridges the gap between a technical teaching book and a beautiful picture book, using more than 200 stunning images throughout its 208 pages. Each reining movement is analysed in detail by expert judge and NRHA President Allen Mitchels and illustrated by a top International Reining Champion and their horse.

Throughout the book riders and trainers give accounts of their training techniques and how they prepare for the big competitions. A closer look at the equine partner including its pedigree, competition record and daily routine concludes each chapter.

The glamorous world of Western fashion is also included. Readers can discover the labels to be seen in, the haute couture of the saddle makers and the skilled craftsmen who produce the intricate detail found on the beautiful bits, buckles and spurs.

There are no other books like Reining Dreams on the market today, containing so much advice and inside information about International Reiners, their trainers and their equine partners.

Reining Dreams will be published in April 2011 (RRP £25) and available to order direct from www.lewishardingpublications.com

Greetings cards with images taken from highlights in the book are also available.
